Staying Connected: Meet Tadeo Gonzalez

Tadeo

Tadeo Gonzalez has been with The1stMovement for the better part of four years and is a perfect example of the strong connections we have in our offices. He and our founder and CEO, Ming Chan, have known each other since college when they both attended Occidental College with Bryan Encina, one of our Technical leads. At T1M, connections like this make our interpersonal relationships and business stronger.

As our Senior Interactive Producer, Tadeo makes sure our projects run smoothly both internally and for our clients by managing expectations and making sure that everything gets done the right way on time and on budget. Before he began at T1M, he had gone through jobs that offered little in the way of challenge and meaningful experience but soon after he found a home with T1M. He talks about the small business mentality and entrepreneurial spirit that made him fall in love with this company. It is a place that consistently challenges him and offers a different experience every day. In addition, it’s a place that is mentally stimulating on a daily basis unlike some of his previous work places.

At T1M, we realize that a balance between work and one’s personal life is important. Outside of the office, one of his favorite spots to check out with his wife is the Arroyo Burro Beach in Santa Barbara where he can let his dogs off the leash. Other activities he enjoys are Hiking in Angeles Crest and Camping at Yosemite, but he admits that his camping is probably not as intense as some of our Denver office team members do. He also enjoys the comfort of Blue Heaven in Chavez Ravine where the Dodgers play. However, he admits that these days it is a little tough rooting for them.

He has also been able to forge strong connections with people and cultures outside of work and his family. Back in 2004, he was able to spend a few weeks in Spain running with the bulls and enjoying the simplicity of the countryside. In 2008, he also took a trip to to Hong Kong and China with his wife, Ming, and Ming’s fiancée. They were able to see Beijing and the Bird’s Nest just after the Summer Olympics took place. The terracotta warriors at Xi’an, the unique scenery of Guilin and Macau—which is apparently a Little Version of Vegas—rounded out the trip.

We at The1stMovement value meaningful relationships and look to build strong connections with our people, vendors and clients. We are grateful to have Tadeo on our team and salute his commitment to our Core Value of ‘Thrive on Meaningful Relationships’ in both his business and personal life!
