On August 6th, a few of The1stMovement family members went to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to participate in an event to pack food for those in need in the area of Los Angeles County.
We were able to put together 2,000 food boxes in 3 hours which means that we will have an positive impact on over 4,000 individuals. A huge thanks goes to Stephanie Guerrero. She organized the event because she felt that it was important for T1M as a Los Angeles-based company to give back to the community in which we live and work! It was an opportunity for all of the T1M family to reflect on their lives and give a little of themselves in order to give a significant amount to someone in who could certainly use the help. Stephanie sums up the experience well:
I think that by T1M doing this it proves we are a company that not only cares about its employees but also people in general. It shows we are trying to make a difference in our community.
